Originally opening their first location in Buckhead 13 years ago, Dantanna’s is now a beloved Atlanta staple with additional locations downtown & in Sandy Springs. The recently refreshed Sandy Springs outpost, renovated to include a new dog-friendly patio lounge, serves up aged steaks, seafood, and a delicious weekend brunch.

Despite a relaxed sports bar feel (there are plenty of tvs if you want to come in to watch a game!) Dantanna’s has a sophisticated menu of both made-from-scratch favorites and daily specials. I visited the Dantanna’s Sandy Springs location for Saturday brunch (they recently added it in addition to Sunday) for an eye-popping brunch feast!

Dantanna’s weekend brunch features a mix of breakfast staples, as well as savory lunch options from burgers to their popular Korean beef salad. Don’t miss out on the Bloody Mary bar from 12-4 on weekends as well.

Standout brunch dishes include the spicy huevos rancheros, a beautifully composed plate with crispy corn tortillas, housemade chorizo, bean hash, and fried eggs. Another favorite was the eggs Dantanna’s style, featuring their signature Creekstone Farms sirloin and poached eggs with hollandaise. It’s one of my favorite steak eggs benedict dishes that I’ve had in Atlanta!

I also sampled a few items from the lunch side of the weekend menu – the lamb burger with apple-bacon kale is a must try, regardless of when you visit.

Despite my huge sweet tooth, I try to never focus too much on dessert when visiting a restaurant. With that being said, you absolutely MUST order the Krispy Kreme bread pudding at the end of your meal. With a slight crunch on the outside, a soft, sweet center, and a topping of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, I couldn’t stop talking about this delectable dessert for days.

Dantanna’s servers are extremely knowledgeable about the menu and it’s origins – make sure to ask for their recommendations, as they had tons of suggestions of their favorites! The menu does offer daily specials, including fresh selections of locally-sourced produce & seafood delivered daily, so you’re sure to find something new at each location and with every visit.
